A man's in custody in Dublin after a woman's body was found in a Tallaght hotel room yesterday afternoon.

Housekeeping staff at the Plaza found the remains of Sonia Blount, who was in her 30's at around 3:30. It’s believed the mother-of-one had been strangled.
A man in his 20's was detained for questioning last night – he's being held at Tallaght Garda station.
Elsewhere, two men in their 30's and 40's remain in custody at Portlaoise Garda Station this morning, following the fatal stabbing of a 26 year old Latvian man in Portarlington.
And investigations are also continuing into the death of a man in his mid-60's, who was found dead at his home in Edenderry, County Offaly yesterday afternoon.
