Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a hit and run traffic collision in Ennis.
Just after 8 o’clock on the night of Friday, September 10th the driver of a black 212 Volkswagon Passat stopped at the traffic lights on Harmony Row, near Coláiste Mhuire with the intention of travelling over Club Bridge.
As the driver waited for the green light a silver or grey car, which may have had a 10 or 12 registration impacted the back of the car, but the reversed backwards and drove away in the direction of the Maid of Éireann roundabout.

Gardaí are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or anyone in the area at the tine who may have dash cam footage to contact Ennis Garda Station on 065 68 48 100.
