Gardaí are appealing to all road users to be mindful of their personal safety, following a road traffic incident which claimed the life of an infant last week.
18-month-old Hunter Molloy died from injuries sustained in an incident at the Ballaghboy Halting Site on the Quin Road last Wednesday.
Hunter was laid to rest in Drumcliffe Cemetery yesterday, following Mass of the Angels at St Peter and Paul’s Cathedral in Ennis.
Garda Albert Hardiman from Clare’s Crime Prevention Office is urging motorists, cyclists and pedestrians to be mindful of their safety over the coming days and months.
He’s appealing to anyone who may have dash cam footage from Wednesday, May 8th between the hours of 11am and 1pm, on the Quin Road in Ennis, between the Digiphone Soccer Park and the Industrial Estate to come forward.
