Family, friends and fans of Maeve Binchy will today pay their final respects to the much-loved novelist.

The 72 year old died on Monday evening, after a short illness.
The funeral of the journalist and celebrated novelist takes place at the Church of the Assumption, in Dalkey, Co Dublin this morning , followed by a private cremation
