Four bathing spots in Clare are to receive a funding boost.
€25,000 in Government funding has been awarded under the Healthy Ireland Outdoor Swimming Initiative for upgrades to Cappa, White Strand, Mountshannon and Fanore.

The funding will go towards the installation of safety railings at Cappa in Kilrush and White Strand in Doonbeg.
It will also fund solar showers in Mountshannon and Fanore beaches.
