One million euro is to be spent on a range of community infrastructural projects throughout Clare.
Half of the funding comes from the Department of the Environment, with the other half coming from the County Council who are looking to use it for eight separate projects.

These include playgrounds, parks, car parks, footpaths and cycleways in areas including Ennis, Shannon, Meelick, Parteen, Westbury, Killaloe, Clonlara, Ogonnelloe and areas close to the Limerick City boundary.
