Frustrations have been raised over the delays to CCTV implementation at dumping blackspots in Clare.
It follows another spate of illegal dumping on Lees Road in Ennis this week.
A post on social media shows large amounts of food waste, household items and car parts discarded on the outer carpark on Lees Road.
The refuse has since been cleared by caretakers at John O’Sullivan park, with no identifying material found amongst the rubbish as to who the culprit was.
A pilot scheme went to consultation back in May for the installation of cameras for an eight week period in Tulla and Kilrush.
Ennis Fianna Fáil Councillor, Clare Colleran Molloy, says these schemes have taken too long to come to fruition.
County Dog Warden, Frankie Coote, has often removed large amounts of rubbish from the same location, including over 50 bags of refuse last December.
He says the council often doesn’t have permission to enter private lands to clean the area up.
