Four Clare schools have qualified for funding under the last round of the safe routes to school scheme.
St Conaire’s in Shannon, Doora National School, Inchicronan National School in Crusheen and Kilrush Community School have all been added to programme.

This will enable each facility to enhance pedestrian crossings, install bollards, upgrade road markings and implement other traffic calming measures.
Clare Fianna Fáil TD Cathal Crowe says it’s hugely positive.
