Four individuals have been arrested following a Garda search operation targeting persons involved in ongoing feuds and criminality in Ennis.
Gardaí attached to the Divisional Crime Task Force in Clare, assisted by the Armed Support Unit and local units attached to Ennis Garda Station, have carried out the search operation today.
During the operation, 10 searches were conducted in properties in the Ennis area.
As a result, a man in his late teens and a man in his 30s were arrested, along with two teenage youths.
It’s understood they have been conveyed to Garda Stations in the Southern Region and are detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Gardaí have also seized four caravans, which are suspected to be stolen property, as well as a quantity of drugs and weapons, as part of the operation.
The investigation is ongoing.
