This afternoon will mark the start of another 48 hours of demonstrations calling for higher beef prices.
The first demonstrations of their kind in 15 years took place last month and pickets will be staged outside meat plants across the country again today.
The IFA says its members are being short changed in comparison to their UK counterparts and the price paid for beef here is one euro per kilo lower than the North.
