Family Say Missing East Clare Man May Have Returned To The County

The family of an East Clare man missing in Cork say there is a chance that he may have returned to the county.

25-year-old Kieran Hayes was last seen at Cork University Hospital early on Monday morning – he was treated there after he was involved in an accident, and hours after he had left his stepbrother's home in Douglas in what his family say was "a distressed state."

Originally from England, Kieran has lived in Whitegate for three years and he was due to return to Clare by bus last Sunday evening.

Searches are being carried out in Cork, but Kieran's aunt Janet Leonard hopes he still has his return ticket to Ennis and is asking people here to keep an eye out for him too.
