Clare’s primary education sector has been given a further boost, with the announcement of a new extension for an Ennis gaelscoil
A new four classroom extention is to be built at Gaelscoil Mhíchíl Cíosóg on the Gort Road in the town.

The permanent structure is to be built on lands already owned by the Department of Education, and it’s hoped that it could open to students as soon as this September.
The announcement comes on the back of recent positive news at other national schools in Ennis and Quin, and Labour TD Michael McNamara is confident these developments will have both short- and long-term benefits.
