The Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications is visiting Clare today for the official launch event for the Local Authority Climate Action Plans.
All 31 local authorities, including Clare, have been preparing their local climate plans over the past year and all plans have now been adopted by the elected members.
The launch, which takes place at the Old Ground Hotel in Ennis, was organised by CARO, Climate Action Regional Offices.
Minister Eamon Ryan will also attend a meeting with Clare County Councillors to discuss the need for additional roads funding and will visit CBS Primary School, Colaiste Muire, Moy Hill Farm and Ballycar.
