A Clare woman is defying the odds of an incurable cancer diagnosis she received over three years ago.
Ennis resident Trish Blake was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, a particularly aggressive form of the illness in 2023 and was told she had a maximum of 18 months to live.

Trish has underwent extensive radiotherapy, rehabilitation and chemotherapy treatment and has since been able to attend several weddings of nieces and nephews and meet four new babies that have come into the family.
She’s urging anyone in a similar situation to reach out to support services, remain positive and take life one day at a time.
