An Ennis town bus service could be operational by the beginning of 2024.
The National Transport Authority has been telling an Oireachtas Committee it is hopeful of putting the project out to tender at some point next year.

The service has long been mooted for the county town, and it’s understood NTA officials are meeting members of Clare County Council before Christmas to confirm route plans.
Addressing Clare Fianna Fail TD Cathal Crowe at the Oireachtas Transport Committee, Director of Public Transport Services with the NTA, Tim Gaston, says there’s still work to be done to see the service come to fruition.
