Clare County Council is urging all road users to approach the Club Bridge in Ennis with extreme caution.
It comes as efforts from the local authority to repair traffic lights have so far proved unsuccessful.

New signals and all associated infrastructure has since been ordered by the council, however the system is not expected to be operational for another two to three weeks.
In the absence of signals, the normal rules of the road for an unmarked junction apply.
