Ennis parents are calling for improved road safety and traffic measures around the new National School site on the Kilrush Road.

With over 600 children attending the brand new school at Ashline, high volumes of traffic are being reported daily, and many parents have expressed concerns about parking facilities and safety measures in place around peak times.
A petition of 200 signatures has been handed in to Ennis Town Council from Ballybeg Residents who are seeking a new footpath and pedestrian crossing for children accessing the school from the Kilrush Road side of the roundabout.
