Most Ennis NCT Tests Failed In 2016

Cars were more likely to fail than pass their NCT at Ennis last year.

Figures published by the Road Safety Authority show 90 cars a day were tested at the Quin Road facility.

Of these, 45.3% or just under 15,000 were adjudged to have passed.

However, 17,500 failed to meet the minimum standards.

Another 167 cars were deemed ‘Dangerous Fails’ while 261 drivers saw their cars fail to not pass the test because they had failed to bring ID with them to the test centre.
