An Ennis GP is blaming “aggressive” and “ill-informed” online dialogue for a rise in scepticism around vaccines.
Unicef claims the growth in vaccine misinformation is leading to a slowdown in global immunisation programmes, with 22 countries seeing their vaccinations rates fall under the required 90% since 2019.

Figures from the World Health Organisation show 115 million infants received at least one vaccine dose last year which was below the 122 million required to reach herd immunity.
