Ennis Gardai are investigating an armed raid in the town this morning.
At around 8 am, a man armed with a weapon, entered the Costcutter Store on the Mill Road and threatened staff before making off with a sum of money from the till.

He then made his escape on foot in the direction of Barrack Street.
No body was injured during the incident but staff were left shaken.
Superintendent Peter Duff of Ennis Garda Station who is leading the investigation is appealing for witnesses to come forward
