Ennis Fire Station is set to undergo a multi-million euro refurbishment.
€8m has been allocated for renovations of the county town base today under the Fire Services Capital Programme.

The funds will also equip Ennis Fire Station with a new fire appliance.
The announcement comes just two months after Clare County Council confirmed its exploring a full demolition and rebuild of Ennis station.
