An Ennis-based family doctor has been appointed to a top job with the Irish College of General Practitioners.
Dr Tony Cox, who has practiced as a GP in Ennis for over 25 years, is the ICGP’s new Medical Director.

He is a former President of the College and has a special interest in diabetes care and chronic disease management in the community.
He will continue to operate out of the Fergus Medical Centre on St Anthony’s Terrace in Ennis.
