The number of people who are at work in the Mid-West has grown by over 4,000 in the past year.
Just under 162,000 people are in employment in Clare, Limerick and North Tipperary, according to new CSO figures.
They also measure the unemployment rate here at 6.7%, down nearly two points in the past twelve months.

However, that rate is still slightly higher than the national average.
