Emergency services have been called to the scene of two road traffic collisions on the main Ennis to Limerick route this morning.
It’s understood four cars were involved in a collision on the southbound lane of the N18, between Junction 6 Bunratty and Junction 5 Cratloe, just after half past eight.

It’s not yet known if there are any injuries.
Gardaí say traffic is building up in the area at the moment and are advising motorists to slow down and drive with care on approach.
Just before 9am, meanwhile, Gardaí were alerted to what’s understood to be a two-vehicle collision on the Northbound Lane of the M18 between the exits for Newmarket-On-Fergus and Dromoland.
