Emergency services have been called to the scene of a road traffic incident just outside Clarecastle.
It’s understood a car collided with an animal on the R458 around seven o’clock this morning, while a second road traffic incident has been reported at the entrance to Quay road in the past hour.

Units from Clare County Fire Service and Gardaí attended the scene.
A traffic management system was in place for a time but the road has since re-opened.
There are no reports of injuries.
