A woman has been airlifted to hospital following a single-vehicle road traffic collision in North Clare.
The car she was driving collided with a ditch, before overturning, near Kilnaboy, shortly after 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon.
Two units of Clare County fire and Rescue Service, Gardaí and Ambulance responded to the incident close to Poplar Bridge, while the Cork-based charity-funded Irish Community Air Ambulance was also dispatched to the scene.

The woman was assessed and treated at the scene before being airlifted to University Hospital Galway for treatment.
Gardaí are investigating the circumstances of the collision.
