Ennis Secondary School Confirms Additional First Year Places To Deal With Extra Demand

An Ennis secondary school will provide an additional 24 school places as part of efforts to meet extra demand in the town.

St Flannan’s College has revisited it’s intake for the coming academic year, and following a review of teacher allocation and accommodation, will now make 240 first year places in total available in September.

The Department of Education has invested in a number of extensions to schools in recent years, the most recent of which at Ennis Community College and Gaelcholáiste an Chlár, however there have been calls in the past for a new school to be built to cater for extra demand into the future.
