Education Minister Says Bus Eireann ‘Continues To Assess Options’ Amid Clare School Transport Issues

The Education Minister says Bus Éireann is continuing to assess its options amid school transport difficulties in this county.

It follows concerns raised in both Corofin and Inagh in recent weeks, with both of their services off the road for a time due to driver shortages and contractor issues.

3,771 tickets were issued to children in this county under the new free School Transport Scheme for this academic year.
