The Minister for Education says parents across Clare and elsewhere will not ‘be left out of pocket’ for school transport that has not been used.

Responding to questioning from Clare Independent TD Michael McNamara, Norma Foley has been telling the Dail that the issue is being examined by the Department of Education.

Over 113,000 pupils nationally are transported to primary and secondary schools on a daily basis, though nearly 50 students in Clare did not have a regular school bus place as of last month.
