A further 100 people across Clare have stopped claiming the Pandemic Unemployment Payment in the last week.
It now means that 5,000 people across this county are receiving the payment today.
In total, 9,600 workers in Clare have closed their claim since the 5th of May.

Nationally, 2,000 people have stopped claiming the payment this week, meaning 5% of all people to have come off the payment in the last seven days are from Clare.
Meanwhile, there are still 1,000 people throughout Clare who are medically certified for receipt of the 350 euro Enhanced Illness Benefit.
