East Clare Golf Club says clubs all around the county will see a membership boost in the wake of Clare’s hosting of the Walker Cup and the Amgen Irish Open.
The Bodyke-based course has been receiving rave reviews in recent months, including from four UK professional golfers, which led to the club hosting one of the West Munster Finals in recent weeks.

The club has also recently experienced a surge in junior members, with 175 fully paid up student members.
East Clare Golf Club representative, Nick Ryan, says the high level of juniors ensures the stability of the club into the future.
