The Sports and Recreation Manager at the Clare County Council says a five-hundred thousand euro upgrade to the John O’Sullivan Park is only the start of a series of sporting developments.
Tim Forde is speaking ahead of the half-a-million euro redevelopment to the AstroTurf pitch at the site which was formerly known as Lees Road.

The pitch has been unchanged since the construction of the site fifteen years ago.
He says that there are a number of other projects for which plans have been made.
