€3,000 Worth Of Cocaine Seized At West Clare Apartment

3,000 euro worth of drugs have been seized following a search of an apartment in West Clare.

At around 2.30 last Wednesday afternoon, Gardaí from the Divisional Drugs Unit carried out a search under warrant in the residential premises in Kilkee.

During the course of the search, three thousand euro worth of Cocaine was discovered and the drugs have since been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory for analysis.

The male resident of the apartment was questioned by Gardaí in relation to this discovery and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
