The government has announced that nearly €2.7 million is to be spent on a range of housing-related works throughout County Clare.
€1.6 million will be spent on adapting the homes of older people and those with disabilities while another €670,000 will be spent on adapting and extending homes in order to make them more energy efficient.

€394,000 will also be used to return 21 vacant housing units throughout the county to use.
