€140,000 Announced For Community Enhancement Programmes In Clare

Almost €140,000 in funding is to be set aside for the Community Enhancement Programme in Clare.

The monies, to be given to the local authority to distribute, is intended to assist in the re-opening of facilities such as community centres and men’s and women’s sheds.

The grants are set to provide resources for facilities to renovate or repair outdoor or electrical equipment needed to enhance their community offering.

Groups can apply for funding of up to €10,000 under the scheme.
