€1.5 Million Fund To Address “Deep Challenges” In Clare

A new €1.5 million fund has been launched to tackle the “deep challenges” and inequalities experienced by Clare residents.

The three-year Clare Communities Fund has been established by Rethink Ireland in collaboration with the Michael Guinee Charitable Foundation and the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht.

Applications are being sought from community projects and organisations looking to address social inequalities as well as foster accessibility and inclusion.

Business Development Director at Rethink Ireland Tanja Buwalda says there are various ways people in Clare are at a disadvantage.
