It’s hoped a plan of action for Tulla will see fresh focus on bringing businesses and residents back into the town centre.
This week’s meeting of the Killaloe Municipal District saw calls for a town plan to be put in place, with focus on rejuvenating the town.

While a fresh town plan won’t be produced, Clare County Council says its Economic Directorate is available to meet with representatives in Tulla to assist with enhancement and support of the town.
Fianna Fáil’s Pat Hayes, who put the motion down, now wants a meeting to be held in the coming weeks and says Tulla has a lot going for it:
