Drink Driving Clampdown by Clare Gardai

Clare motorists are being warned that Gardaí will be keeping a close watch on the county's roads network across the Bank Holiday weekend.

Delays are expected today, as people from Clare and beyond flock to the county to enjoy the break, and particularly tomorrow when the majority of St. Patrick's Parades are held.

Gardaí will be carrying out breathalyzer tests, to ensure people don't drink and drive, but Superintendent Derek Smart of Ennis Garda Station warns they'll be looking to stop other motoring offences too.
