Doras Says Significant Rise In Racism And Harassment To Clare Service Users

A MidWest Migrants Rights Association says there’s been a significant escalation in incidents of racism, harassment and verbal abuse towards its service users in Clare.

It follows an incident in Limerick City this week in which a migrant man in his 30’s was hospitalised following an assault stemming from what Gardaí have confirmed to be “unfounded allegations”.

There are currently 985 International Protection Applicants living in Clare
