Doolin Falls Short In Cleaning Up Litter

Lahinch and Mountshannon are outperforming the majority of coastal areas across the country in terms of cleanliness.

The two Clare waterways are among the 40 percent of areas surveyed by Irish Business Against Litter which were deemed to be Clean To European Norms.

This status is a significant improvement for Lahinch beach, which in 2019 was classed as moderately littered.
