The Government taskforce looking at broadband roll-out has been labelled a ‘box ticking exercise’ by Clare’s Fianna Fáil TD.
Yesterday the Communications Minister gave an update saying that ‘good progress’ was being made identifying blackspots.

Denis Naughten also claimed that ComReg was doing ‘substantial work’ improving mobile phone coverage.
But Timmy Dooley, who’s his party’s communications spokesperson, thinks the progress isn’t fast enough:
