Dolores O’Riordan To Be Sentenced Next Month Following Shannon Air Rage Incident

Dolores O'Riordan will be sentenced next month following an air rage incident at Shannon Airport.

The former Cranberries frontwoman has pleaded guilty to assaulting a Garda and two airport police officers during at Shannon on November 10th, 2014.

A court sitting last month heard that the 44-year-old of Friarstown, Kilmallock, Co. Limerick was described as being delusional and in a hyper-paranoid state during the incident, while her solicitor said it happened at an extremely difficult period in her life.

The case was further mentioned at Ennis District Court this week, when it was confirmed that sentencing will take place on February 24th.
