Water consumers in parts of Ennis are being warned of disruption to their supply this afternoon and evening.
Clare County Council, acting as agents of Irish Water, say improvement works are to be carried out to water mains supplying the Circular Road, Upper Hermitage, Ard na Gaoithe areas.
