Moves to build a new Aircraft Hangar at Shannon Airport have moved a step closer.

A design consultant is being sought for the project in line with a current lease agreement.
Shannon Airport Authority says the key aim of the project is to proceed immediately with the design and construction of a large 6,000 sq. m insulated steel hangar.
If it does go ahead it will allow Shannon Airport accept aircraft maintenance business whilst accommodating both narrow-body and wide-body aircraft.
