An online campaign suggesting that one of Caitriona's paintings be used for a stamp was launched in the days after the Doolin Coast Guard volunteer lost her life in a tragic accident off Kilkee.
The Liscannor woman has also been named as the Clare Person of the Year by the Clare Association, and her family will collect the honour at a ceremony in Ennistymon in February.
Her husband Bernard has told Clare FM's Morning Focus how his family are pleased that Caitriona is being honoured in this way.
