A Kerry TD is blaming the poor road conditions in Killarney on fairies.
Danny Healy Rae’s daughter has told a meeting of Killarney Municipal District Council that her father is convinced that mythical creatures are interfering with the main route between Killarney and Cork.
A dip in the road has re-emerged despite repair works being carried there, and the Kerry TD has confirmed to The Irish Times that he believes it’s linked to the presence of fairy forts.
