Preparations for the budget, next months constitutional referenda and changes in work practices for our politicians look set to dominate the return of the Dáil.

TDs return to Leinster House today after their summer break – and will be spending more time in the Dáil chamber from now on.
The first legislation to be dealt with this week will allow for two referenda to be held on the day of the Presidential election on 27 October.
The Dublin West by-election will also take place on the same day as the referenda on judicial pay and on Oireachtas inquiries.
