Clare people are getting on their bikes this week.
Hosted by Clare County Council and Clare Sports Partnership, Bike Week 2026 runs until next Sunday, with events taking place across the county to celebrate cycling and encourage more people to get active.

From community spins and learn-to-cycle programmes to competitive races and family-friendly events, there’s something for all ages and abilities.
Events got underway over the weekend with a Darkness Into Light cycle in Ennistymon, and owner of L and L Cycles in Kilrush and a member of the West Clare Cycling Club, Gary Kiely, says there’s plenty more to come in the days ahead.
