Uisce Éireann has confirmed crews are working to restore water to customers in north Clare following a ‘significant’ burst on the water mains.
The water utility says those in Lisdoonvarna, Fanore, Ballyvaughan, Doolin and the surrounding areas may experience supply disruptions this afternoon.

Repairs on the burst are expected to be completed later this evening.
Uisce Éireann is reminding customers it can take up to three hours for full supply to be restored to all those affected by an unplanned outage.
