Ukranian Refugees In Lisdoonvarna Thank People Of Clare for Hospitality

Ukrainian refugees in North Clare have urged the country’s ambassador to Ireland to send a message out to world leaders to stop the conflict now.

Larysa Gerasko was in Lisdoonvarna and Ballyvaughan over the weekend where she met met a number of the 1,000 people who’ve fled the war torn country and are now living in North and West Clare.

Around half of those are being accommodated at the Hydro Hotel in Lisdoonvara, with local community group Lisdoonvarna Fáilte providing support in the area.
